Theox
Mateo Žiković, known professionally as Theox, is a 22-year-old DJ from Umag, Croatia. His journey into the world of music began two years ago, when his passion for electronic music led him to meet two influential mentors, Kell Klesinger and Ben Valley. Their guidance helped him refine his skills, eventually securing his place within the local scene.
Theox quickly became a recognized name in Umag, performing at local events and earning a reputation for his music selection and dance-infused sounds. In 2024, he became the resident DJ at Goldfish Beach Bar, where he performed for a wide audience and contributed to the venue's vibrant atmosphere, further building his reputation within the local music community.
Theox took his career at the beginning of 2025. to the next level by joining the Papaya Events Collective. His sets, often a blend of house and related genres, continue to captivate audiences with their infectious grooves and smooth transitions.
With a bright future ahead, Theox is quickly becoming one of Umag’s most promising DJ talents. He is currently working on producing his own music and strengthening his presence in the Croatian electronic scene.
