Papaya Events was founded by the passionate and visionary Ben Valley in 2019, with the goal of bringing electronic music to the forefront of Umag’s vibrant music scene. His vision was to make electronic beats more accessible and popular, introducing a fresh and energetic vibe to the local nightlife. In 2024, Kell Klesinger and Theox joined the collective, adding their unique sounds to the mix. Together, they began performing at local bars and clubs, creating unforgettable experiences with their electrifying sets.

From house and its subgenres to R&B, reggae, dub, 90s bands, EDM, and much more, the collective curates a dynamic range of sounds that keeps the energy high and the crowd engaged. Kell Klesinger is the groove character of Papaya Collective, known for his deep passion for selecting tracks and curating the perfect vibe. Kell’s versatility and expertise make him a complete force in almost every part of the production, from creating intricate mixes to shaping the overall sound of the events. Ben Valley, as the head of Papaya Collective, has over 30 years of experience in the electronic music scene. He’s worked with world-renowned DJs and producers and has played at almost all of the biggest events around Umag. With many published tracks on respected labels, Ben is known for his exceptional production skills and ability to create memorable performances. For the past quarter-century, he has been the driving force holding the scene together, bringing his expertise, passion, and leadership to Papaya Events, helping it become a standout name in the local music scene.
